How does the government not get it? Instead of burning fewer light bulbs, we use more air conditioning, heaters, etc.  The myth about "creating an extra hour of daylight" is such a BS-- there's still THE SAME AMOUNT OF DAYLIGHT in 24 hours. Switching the clock an hour earlier does not create additional hour, but does messes with our biological clock. I feel like crap the first few weeks of DTS. I wish I had the time to do UW (and the scores to get in), but will have to do Seattle-U instead. With this work schedule I can't commit to a set program, private schools are more flexible with that. Oh, yeah, and the application requirements are way lower too.
